‘Bye-bye’: George San­tos laughs at Cori Bush’s ‘humil­i­at­ing defeat’ in pri­ma­ry and warns ‘Squad’ to ‘watch out’

Embat­tled for­mer Repub­li­can New York Rep. George San­tos took to social media to react to the defeat of “Squad” Rep. Cori Bush (D‑MO) in her Demo­c­ra­t­ic pri­ma­ry Tues­day night against pro-Israel pros­e­cu­tor Wes­ley Bell.

“I’m not going to be a bad per­son,” San­tos said on a video post­ed on the X plat­form while he attempt­ed to tem­per his words but then laughed loud­ly.

“Bye, Cori!” he con­tin­ued to laugh.

“Oh my God! 68 to 33! Humil­i­at­ing defeat! That’s exact­ly how I like to see it,” San­tos said, react­ing to Bush’s loss.

“Humil­i­a­tion for Cori and Jamaal,” he said, ref­er­enc­ing Rep. Jamaal Bow­man (D‑NY), who was con­vict­ed of pulling a Capi­tol build­ing fire alarm and was recent­ly defeat­ed in his pri­ma­ry.

“Who’s next? 2026! Squad, watch out! We’re com­ing to getcha. Bye!” he snarked.

San­tos was expelled from Con­gress last year after pres­sure from Repub­li­cans and Democ­rats, includ­ing Squad mem­bers, who vot­ed to oust him over numer­ous alleged ethics vio­la­tions and fed­er­al charges that accused him of aggrav …
