The nation’s oldest and largest Latino civil rights organization, the League of United Latin American Citizens, has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president in a historic first for the group.
The executive board of LULAC’s political action committee voted unanimously to endorse Harris and her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz (D‑MN), on Friday, the organization announced in a press release.
It marks LULAC’s first endorsement of any presidential candidate since the civil rights group was founded in 1929.
