News­Busters Pod­cast: Har­ris vs. Trump, or ‘Uni­corn Sparkles vs. Puke’

Don­ald Trump held a press con­fer­ence, for which he received zero cred­it. But at least it appar­ent­ly shamed Kamala Har­ris into tak­ing a few ques­tions. J.D. Vance strolling over to Kamala’s trav­el­ing press corps on the tar­mac in Eau Claire, Wis­con­sin to joke about how they looked “lone­ly” must have had an effect.
Before that, ABC’s Kyra Phillips announced after they dropped out of cov­er­ing Trump that ABC would like to pro­vide equal time for Demo­c­rat press con­fer­ences. That’s unin­ten­tion­al­ly hilar­i­ous. For­mer Wash­ing­ton Post media reporter Paul Farhi had this amaz­ing tweet: “Har­ris’ cam­paign ‘declined a request for com­ment’ about why she has declined media requests for com­ment.”
