Celine Dion rebukes use of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ at Trump ral­ly

A video of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” played on the big screen at Repub­li­can pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee Don­ald Trump’s Fri­day ral­ly in Boze­man, Mon­tana, and the Cana­di­an pop singer’s man­age­ment team did not approve of it.
In an Insta­gram post on Sat­ur­day after­noon, Dion shared a state­ment clar­i­fy­ing that the use of the song was unau­tho­rized and ques­tion­ing the choice of the theme from the 1997 film Titan­ic.
“Today, Celine Dion’s man­age­ment team and her record label, Sony Music Enter­tain­ment Cana­da Inc., became aware of the unau­tho­rized usage of the video, record­ing, musi­cal per­for­mance, and like­ness of Celine Dion singing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ at a Don­ald Trump / JD Vance cam­paign ral­ly in Mon­tana,” the state­ment reads.
“In no way is this use autho­rized, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any sim­i­lar use. … And real­ly, THAT song?”
