Har­ris strat­e­gy of avoid­ing the press is ‘work­ing’: Byron York

The Wash­ing­ton Examiner’s Byron York stat­ed that Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Harris’s strat­e­gy to win the 2024 elec­tion seems to be not say­ing any­thing to the press, which for the moment “seems to be work­ing” in turn­ing her party’s polling num­bers around.
Since step­ping in for Pres­i­dent Joe Biden as the Demo­c­ra­t­ic Party’s 2024 pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee, Har­ris has yet to con­duct any inter­views with the press about her ambi­tions for the White House. Despite this, she received “glow­ing” cov­er­age from Time magazine’s cov­er sto­ry, with York, the Wash­ing­ton Examiner’s chief polit­i­cal cor­re­spon­dent, not­ing how the mag­a­zine specif­i­cal­ly stat­ed that Har­ris refused to do an inter­view.
