Mil­i­tary vet­er­an Matthew Corey has won the Repub­li­can pri­ma­ry to face Demo­c­ra­t­ic Con­necti­cut Sen. Chris Mur­phy in the fall.Corey, who owns a bar in Hart­ford, Con­necti­cut, was run­ner-up in the state GOP’s nom­i­nat­ing con­ven­tion in May.
