WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a new twist in the ongo­ing inves­ti­ga­tion into the attempt­ed assas­si­na­tion of for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, the Unit­ed States Secret Ser­vice announced that the shot that took out the assas­sin had been reclas­si­fied as “friend­ly fire.”
