Repub­li­cans should hold Har­ris to her pre­vi­ous posi­tions for 2024: Byron York

Byron York argued that “there’s a case” to be made by Repub­li­cans to hold Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Har­ris to the posi­tions she pre­vi­ous­ly held before becom­ing the Demo­c­ra­t­ic Party’s 2024 nom­i­nee.
Har­ris has changed her views on mul­ti­ple issues since essen­tial­ly tak­ing Pres­i­dent Joe Biden’s place in the 2024 elec­tion cycle, includ­ing bor­der secu­ri­ty and uni­ver­sal Medicare. York, the Wash­ing­ton Examiner’s chief polit­i­cal cor­re­spon­dent, not­ed how Har­ris was a very pro­gres­sive can­di­date when she ran for pres­i­dent in 2020, but now the only posi­tion she has not changed her views on is abor­tion.
“And I think there’s a case to be made right now for Repub­li­cans to hold her to these old posi­tions that we see her say­ing on tape every­where, and not pay a lot of atten­tion to a state­ment released by some anony­mous staffer and to say ‘until Kamala Har­ris tells us her­self what she believes in, this is what she said,’” York said on …
