Byron York argued that “there’s a case” to be made by Republicans to hold Vice President Kamala Harris to the positions she previously held before becoming the Democratic Party’s 2024 nominee.
Harris has changed her views on multiple issues since essentially taking President Joe Biden’s place in the 2024 election cycle, including border security and universal Medicare. York, the Washington Examiner’s chief political correspondent, noted how Harris was a very progressive candidate when she ran for president in 2020, but now the only position she has not changed her views on is abortion.
“And I think there’s a case to be made right now for Republicans to hold her to these old positions that we see her saying on tape everywhere, and not pay a lot of attention to a statement released by some anonymous staffer and to say ‘until Kamala Harris tells us herself what she believes in, this is what she said,’” York said on …
