Lara Trump pre­dicts Harris’s ‘shine will wear off’ come debate time

RNC co-chair­woman Lara Trump sug­gest­ed the cur­rent hype sur­round­ing Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Harris’s pres­i­den­tial cam­paign will “wear off” come the next pres­i­den­tial debate — this time between for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump and Har­ris.
Pres­i­dent Joe Biden dropped out of his bid for reelec­tion in July a few weeks after his poor debate per­for­mance against Trump, leav­ing Har­ris to replace him as the Demo­c­ra­t­ic nom­i­nee.
“What you have seen is man­u­fac­tured,” Lara Trump told the Ingra­ham Angle. “This whole thing has been smoke and mir­rors, and it’s the same folks in the main­stream media, by the way. I will remind every­one who a few months ago, were sug­gest­ing that maybe Joe Biden want­ed to choose a new run­ning mate. Maybe Kamala Har­ris was a bit of a drag on the tick­et. Now we are all sup­posed to believe she is this polit­i­cal genius. You can­not believe what you are see­ing out there.”

“Wait until the debate between Don­ald Trump and Kamala Har­ris,” she added. “The shine will wear off. We will see exact­ly who she is. And I can guar­an­tee you those poll num­bers for Don­ald Trump will con­tin­ue to go up.”
The RNC co-chair­woman also encour­aged Repub­li­can vot­ers to not take the need to vote for grant­ed.
