Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Har­ris will hold a ral­ly in North Car­oli­na and unveil her eco­nom­ic pol­i­cy agen­da as she vies to flip the state blue. 
On Fri­day, Har­ris will address sup­port­ers in Raleigh, North Car­oli­na, at 2:45 p.m. Her appear­ance, focused on sup­port­ing the mid­dle class, comes just days after for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump held his own North Car­oli­na ral­ly tar­get­ing the Har­ris cam­paign on infla­tion and oth­er eco­nom­ic con­cerns.

Harris’s pol­i­cy speech comes as crit­i­cism mounts for run­ning a light-weight cam­paign. She is set to announce price-goug­ing plans, tax cuts, and health insur­ance pre­mi­um pro­pos­als dur­ing the North Car­oli­na event. 
While Trump holds a nar­row lead over Har­ris, recent polls indi­cate that momen­tum for Har­ris is grow­ing in the state, which the for­mer pres­i­dent won by over 74,000 votes in 2020.
