Trump Says He’s ‘Open’ To Having RFK Jr. Join His Administration

Repub­li­can pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee Don­ald Trump said this week that he is open to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. serv­ing in his admin­is­tra­tion if he were to win a sec­ond term this fall.
Trump’s remarks come after Kennedy report­ed­ly said he reached out to Demo­c­rat pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Har­ris’ “high­est inter­me­di­aries,” who said her team had “no inter­est in talk­ing.” Kennedy want­ed to talk about drop­ping out of the race and endors­ing her cam­paign in exchange for her giv­ing him a cab­i­net posi­tion. Kennedy lashed out after being reject­ed and attacked Har­ris and the Demo­c­rat Par­ty.
