Liz Cheney, who called Harris ‘a radical liberal’ in 2020, now endorses her

Former Wyoming GOP Rep. Liz Cheney announced her endorsement of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Wednesday.
“I don’t believe we have the luxury of writing in candidates’ names, particularly in swing states,” Cheney said during a speech at Duke University in North Carolina.

“And as a conservative, as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this, and because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris,” she added.
Cheney lost her congressional seat following her aggressive effort to push for the impeachment of former Donald Trump.
In a 2023 interview with CBS, Cheney slammed Trump running again for president and claimed the United States was “sleepwalking into dictatorship.”
The Wyoming Republican had previously called Harris “to the left of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren” in a Fox News interview.
Kamala Harris is a radical liberal who would raise taxes, take away guns & health insurance, and explode the size and power of the federal gov’t. …
