Trump not expect­ed to alter cam­paign sched­ule fol­low­ing assas­si­na­tion attempt

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump will not be can­cel­ing any sched­uled events despite being the tar­get of an “appar­ent assas­si­na­tion attempt” that was thwart­ed at his golf course in Flori­da on Sun­day, accord­ing to the FBI. Of the notable swing states this elec­tion cycle, Trump is sched­uled to vis­it Michi­gan and North Car­oli­na. 
On Tues­day, Trump will trav­el to Flint, Michi­gan, for a town-hall-style event with his for­mer press sec­re­tary, Gov. Sarah Huck­abee Sanders (R‑AR), accord­ing to the New York Times.
