White House press sec­re­tary Karine Jean-Pierre is set to hold a press brief­ing Tues­day at 1:30 p.m. EST.
Jean-Pierre will like­ly address Sunday’s “appar­ent assas­si­na­tion attempt” tar­get­ing for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump at his golf course in Flori­da. Pres­i­dent Joe Biden and Trump spoke on the phone Mon­day and the for­mer pres­i­dent “expressed his thanks for the call,” accord­ing to the White House.
