Trump could run into trouble with  temporary cap on credit card interest rates

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump promised the coun­try he would place a tem­po­rary cap on cred­it card inter­est rates if he returns to the White House. 
Speak­ing to New York sup­port­ers at a Long Island ral­ly, Trump announced his lat­est pro­pos­al to address the econ­o­my and a bal­loon­ing debt cri­sis fac­ing vot­ers.
“While work­ing Amer­i­cans catch up, we’re going to put a tem­po­rary cap on cred­it card inter­est rates. We’re going to cap it at around 10%,” he said to cheers. “We can’t let them make 25% and 30%.”
