The man suspected of attempting to kill former President Donald Trump while he was golfing at Mar-a-Lago wrote a letter addressed to the world admitting he was attempting an assassination and failed to “finish the job.”
Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, allegedly dropped a box off at an unnamed witness’s house months before the September 15 assassination attempt. The box “contained ammunition, a metal pipe, miscellaneous building materials, tools, four phones, and various letters,” according to the Justice Department.
