Joy Reid Complains Trump Is Trying To Get Hostages Back From Hamas

Far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid complained Tuesday night on the network that President-elect Donald Trump was pressuring the Hamas terrorist organization to release the dozens of hostages that remain inside Gaza.

Reid compared Trump to mob boss Tony Soprano from the hit HBO show “The Sopranos,” complaining that he was “muscling other countries” on social media, like threatening BRICS countries — Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa — with tariffs if they moved away from the U.S. dollar.

Reid then complained that Trump was “demanding Hamas release all hostages being held in Gaza before his inauguration, or there will be, ‘all hell to pay in the Middle East.’”

An estimated 63 hostages are still alive inside Gaza after they were kidnapped from their homes by Hamas during the Iranian-backed terrorist group’s unprecedented attack on October 7 last year. Several Americans are believed to still be alive.

Trump posted a statement on Truth Social after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said this week that American-Israeli hostage Omer Neutra — who for months was thought to be alive in Hamas captivity — was killed on October 7, 2023, and his body has been held by the terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

“Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire World, in the Middle East – But it’s all talk, and no action!” he wrote. “Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity. Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!”

Hamas murdered 1,200+ people during the attack, wounded thousands more, and took hundreds hostage. The attack ignited a multi-front war throughout the Middle East against Iranian-backed terrorist groups outside of Gaza, including Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and various groups in Iraq and Syria.

The conflict has also erupted into a direct shooting war between Israel and Iran after Iran fired hundreds of missiles in response to Israel killing top terrorist leaders.
