The New York Police Department will hold a news conference at 11:30 a.m. at 1 Police Plaza to discuss the details of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s fatal shooting Wednesday morning.
The conference will be led by New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch and the Chief of Department Jeffery Maddrey. Thompson is the CEO of UnitedHealthcare and was attending the company’s annual investors conference when he was shot in the chest outside the New York Hilton Midtown hotel at 6:45 a.m.
