Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump said on Mon­day that new­ly launched Trump Accounts could be the rem­e­dy to a grow­ing infat­u­a­tion with com­mu­nist ideals in Amer­i­ca because they will teach chil­dren to have an “entre­pre­neur­ial” spir­it.
Trump made the argu­ment dur­ing an Oval Office event focused on the roll­out of Trump Accounts, which funds qual­i­fy­ing invest­ment accounts for Amer­i­can chil­dren with $1,000 from the Trea­sury. Trump Accounts offi­cial­ly launched on the Fourth of July.
