Trump confirms Bessent will not be ‘super intelligence’ czar

Trea­sury Sec­re­tary Scott Bessent will not be the first AI czar to lead the so-called AI Force, Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump con­firmed on Fri­day.
The pres­i­dent appeared to be address­ing a Semafor report that list­ed Bessent as a top con­tender for the new role.
