WNBA star Brittney Griner pleaded guilty to a drug charge in a Russian court on Thursday.

The guilty plea for bringing cannabis into the country could land her in jail for up to 10 years.

“I’d like to plead guilty, your honor. But there was no intent. I didn’t want to break the law,” Griner said in the courtroom, according to Reuters.

Several high-profile figures, including NBA superstar LeBron James, have called for Griner’s release.
