WATCH: Sen. Kennedy suggests Will Smith ‘slap sense’ into Biden’s teleprompter

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) said he is confused by the Biden administration’s latest attempt to relate to the public, calling it “star-spangled stupid.”

While appearing on Jesse Watters Primetime on Tuesday, the Louisiana senator blasted President Joe Biden’s tactic of trying to convince people to “hate Republicans more than the American people hate President Biden.”

“Maybe the White House should call Will Smith over and ask him to slap some sense into the teleprompter,” Kennedy said, referencing the actor’s infamous Oscars slap.

Kennedy told Watters that Biden has a “blind spot for the lives and concerns of ordinary Americans,” which include jobs, inflation, crashing investments, and fentanyl poisoning.

“Instead, he seems more concerned with gender-neutral pronouns and whether he is winning the war against oil production in America,” Kennedy added, noting that those who disagree with him are “going to get pretty tired pretty quickly having the president of the United States of America call them racist and misogynistic and ignorant and un-American and fascist.”

Kennedy’s comments follow Biden’s televised prime-time speech last week about democracy and how to protect it, a speech intended to rally his base while only 44% of voters approve of the job his administration is doing.
