WATCH: Natalie Portman applauds Thor: Love and Thunder as ‘gayest’ Marvel film
Hollywood star Natalie Portman lit up in agreement last week when she was asked if Thor: Love and Thunder was the “gayest” Marvel movie.
“Natalie, is it safe to say that this is the gayest movie ever made in the MCU?” Andrew Freund of Dish Nation asked the Oscar winner.
“Uhm, I love that reading of it!” Portman said in response. “Yes, I love that!”

The movie features at least one “fabulous queer character,” according to co-star Tessa Thompson, and Freund pointed out other LGBT themes.
“I mean, you’re flying on rainbows, or am I imagining it?” Freund asked.
“I mean, that is the core of the comics,” said Portman, who plays Jane Foster in the film.

“I feel like that’s where it all started. It’s very true to the source material, I think.”
