Impe­r­i­al Judge Boas­berg Case Against Trump Admin Poised To Esca­late… Each Side Mak­ing Big Plans (Video)

This is the case that goes back to the fil­ing where Boas­berg tried to get a plane deport­ing crim­i­nal ille­gal aliens to turn around and bring them back to Amer­i­ca.

Judge Boas­berg is very clear­ly still angry, and look­ing for ways to over­come the obsta­cles the Trump admin­is­tra­tion has put in his path. First, he gave a ver­bal order, not a writ­ten one until the plane had already unloaded its pas­sen­gers.

Trump won that round. The plane­load of peo­ple were beyond his reach, so he esca­lat­ed, mak­ing demands about the deci­sion mak­ers among those who (he believes) defied his orders and hav­ing a TRO in place against the entire fed­er­al gov­ern­ment, reach­ing into actions that are sole­ly Exec­u­tive Branch func­tions.

Boas­berg is hand­wav­ing away spe­cif­ic priv­i­lege claims that negate his author­i­ty to ques­tion Trump’s deci­sions. And he (a dis­trict judge!) has issued an order that denies Trump to use laws on the books against an ille­gal alien crim­i­nal enter­prise that (it is alleged) has direct ties to the hos­tile gov­ern­ment of Venezuela itself.

The judge claims ‘bad faith’ use of the Nation­al Secrets priv­i­lege and is said to be con­tem­plat­ing Con­tempt pro­ceed­ings.

The Trump admin is appeal­ing in the usu­al way, bring­ing atten­tion to the fact that this judge, for sev­er­al rea­sons, ought NOT to have been hear­ing THIS ques­tion in THIS dis­trict, with THIS tool seek­ing THIS rem­e­dy.

Har­ri­et Hage­man, on the oth­er hand, points to vio­la­tions of law and process demon­strat­ing he cares more about a polit­i­cal win than the cor­rect appli­ca­tion of law.

Mean­while, Con­gress sees a way to remove him with a sim­ple major­i­ty vote.

One guy wants to amass pow­ers that were nev­er grant­ed him to exe­cute, and pun­ish coequal branch­es for not bend­ing the knee to his intru­sions. The oth­er side are look­ing for ways to have this rogue judge have his leash jerked tight, to remind him of his duty and his oath.
