Jim Jordan argues voters see Trump’s trials as a move to ‘impact the 2024 race’

Rep. Jim Jor­dan (R‑OH) argued Sun­day that vot­ers are start­ing to see for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s tri­als as inter­fer­ence in the pres­i­den­tial elec­tion, which could be a rematch between Trump and Pres­i­dent Joe Biden.
Trump is fac­ing a mul­ti­tude of legal bat­tles while simul­ta­ne­ous­ly cam­paign­ing for pres­i­dent in 2024, with Jor­dan not­ing how many peo­ple have pre­dict­ed Trump’s claims on absolute immu­ni­ty would get sent back to a low­er court. Jor­dan added how “all the main­stream media” have expressed con­cern that this could mean there will not be a tri­al before the 2024 elec­tion, fuel­ing the notion that Trump’s tri­als are “all polit­i­cal.”
