Stormy Daniels compares Trump to bad child needing punishment: ‘No golfing’

Stormy Daniels, the star wit­ness involved in Man­hat­tan Dis­trict Attor­ney Alvin Bragg‘s crim­i­nal tri­al against for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, com­pared the president’s upcom­ing sen­tenc­ing to that of how par­ents pun­ish chil­dren.
“I don’t think Trump under­stands any­thing. Like any­thing. Like, it just, he doesn’t — he’s lost, com­plete and out of touch with real­i­ty,” she said in her first inter­view since the president’s con­vic­tion.

“Fun­ny, it’s actu­al­ly like when you have a child, and some­times tak­ing the elec­tron­ics away works,” she said. “But if your child is very artis­tic, they don’t care. They’ll just go col­or their col­or­ing books. And then you have anoth­er child that, you know, they don’t want to go out­side — you got to ground them or take away elec­tron­ics or don’t let them have dessert.”
She added, “You have to find the pun­ish­ment that not just match­es the crime but is fair and just and that impacts that par­tic­u­lar per­son.”
Daniels paused, con­sid­er­ing what would be a tough “pun­ish­ment” for Trump.
“I don’t know. … No golf­ing!” she exclaimed her pun­ish­ment sug­ges­tion for the for­mer pres­i­dent.
