Nigel Farage, the leader of the Reform UK par­ty, was doused in a drink Tues­day dur­ing the announce­ment event for his entry into the gen­er­al elec­tion.
Farage was attend­ing an event in Clac­ton-on-Sea when he was cov­ered with a milk­shake, accord­ing to Metro. The I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star was in the vil­lage to announce his can­di­da­cy in the Essex town.
The Unit­ed King­dom announced a gen­er­al elec­tion this year amid declin­ing momen­tum for the Con­ser­v­a­tive Par­ty, lead­ing to a com­pet­i­tive field that could lead to gains for Keir Starmer’s Labour Par­ty and Reform UK.
