Trump says ‘it’s going to be a bloodbath’ if he does not get elected

Pre­sump­tive Repub­li­can pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee Don­ald Trump warned Sat­ur­day that “it’s going to be a blood­bath” if he does not get elect­ed in Novem­ber.
The for­mer pres­i­dent was speak­ing at a ral­ly in Ohio for Sen­ate can­di­date Bernie Moreno, who is locked in a bit­ter bat­tle ahead of Tuesday’s pri­ma­ry elec­tion, when he made the com­ment. He had just addressed Chi­nese Pres­i­dent Xi Jin­ping, telling him the Unit­ed States would impose 100% tar­iffs on cars import­ed from Chi­nese plants in Mex­i­co if he wins a sec­ond term in the White House.
“Now if I don’t get elect­ed, it’s going to be a blood­bath for the whole — that’s going to be the least of it,” Trump said. “It’s going to be a blood­bath for the coun­try, that’ll be the least of it.”
Trump returned to the top­ic of Chi­nese-import­ed cars after that. Lat­er in the speech, he said 2024 might be the last elec­tion in the U.S. if he does not win.
