Biden walks offstage during campaign stop to play with baby

Pres­i­dent Joe Biden walked over to greet and play with a baby in the crowd dur­ing a cam­paign event in Phoenix, Ari­zona, on Tues­day.
Biden walked off the stage dur­ing the event as his cam­paign man­ag­er, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, was speak­ing at an event aimed at Lati­no vot­ers held at a Mex­i­can restau­rant in the Grand Canyon State.

The pres­i­dent could be seen play­ing with the baby and talk­ing with the moth­er as Rodriguez dis­cussed the impor­tance of Lati­no vot­ers for Biden’s reelec­tion effort.
Rodriguez’s remarks were fol­lowed up by Luis Reyes, a stu­dent at Ari­zona State Uni­ver­si­ty who intro­duced the pres­i­dent. Biden then walked back onstage and joked that he “couldn’t resist” the baby in the crowd.
