Con­gress frac­tures on how to respond to Iran’s attack on Israel

In the wake of Iran’s mis­sile attack on Israel, Pres­i­dent Joe Biden has report­ed­ly told Israeli Prime Min­is­ter Ben­jamin Netanyahu not to retal­i­ate against Iran. Now, mem­bers of Con­gress are weigh­ing in on what they think is appro­pri­ate action mov­ing for­ward. 
Mem­bers of Con­gress have been divid­ed on the Israel-Hamas War, with some in the president’s own par­ty crit­i­ciz­ing his stance for being too pro-Israel. Biden recent­ly has used stronger lan­guage with Israeli Prime Min­is­ter Ben­jamin Netanyahu, demand­ing aid be let in Gaza.
