GOP-aligned group drops new ad tar­get­ing Tester’s immi­gra­tion record

EXCLUSIVE — A GOP-aligned polit­i­cal action com­mit­tee released an ad on Tues­day focus­ing on Sen. Jon Tester‘s (D‑MT) immi­gra­tion record in the days fol­low­ing his vote to dis­miss the arti­cles of impeach­ment against Home­land Secu­ri­ty Sec­re­tary Ale­jan­dro May­orkas.
The ad is a con­tin­u­a­tion of a $15.2 mil­lion ad buy in Mon­tana from One Nation, a group aligned with Sen­ate GOP lead­er­ship, that began in ear­ly April and will run through the sum­mer.
The sec­ond ad, run­ning statewide on tele­vi­sion and dig­i­tal, spot­lights Tester’s votes on immi­gra­tion and claims the Mon­tana sen­a­tor sup­ports “Biden’s bor­der dis­as­ter.”
