More than half of GOP sen­a­tors back Kari Lake as she nabs anoth­er endorse­ment

EXCLUSIVE — Sen­ate can­di­date Kari Lake has secured anoth­er endorse­ment from a Repub­li­can sen­a­tor, giv­ing her a boost as she pre­pares for one of the most com­pet­i­tive elec­tions of the 2024 cycle.
Sen. Ted Budd (R‑NC) will endorse Lake on Tues­day, laud­ing the con­ser­v­a­tive can­di­date on her poli­cies toward immi­gra­tion and bor­der secu­ri­ty, accord­ing to a state­ment first obtained by the Wash­ing­ton Exam­in­er. Budd’s back­ing is the lat­est in a string of endorse­ments by oth­er Repub­li­can sen­a­tors as they coa­lesce around her cam­paign in one the most high-pro­file Sen­ate races this year.
