MTG predicts ‘end of our republic’ as GOP House members head for the exits

Rep. Mar­jorie Tay­lor Greene (R‑GA) pre­dict­ed Repub­li­cans would soon lose their major­i­ty in the House, which would bring the “end of our repub­lic,” because House Repub­li­cans keep depart­ing in the mid­dle of the year.
Greene said she would not be held respon­si­ble if House Minor­i­ty Leader Hakeem Jef­fries (D‑NY) became the next House speak­er, claim­ing Repub­li­cans such as Reps. Mike Gal­lagher (R‑WI) and Ken Buck (R‑CO) hold more blame for leav­ing in the mid­dle of the term. 
“I am not going to be respon­si­ble for Hakeem Jef­fries being speak­er of the House,” Greene told Real America’s Voice on Tues­day. “I am not going to be respon­si­ble for a Demo­c­ra­t­ic major­i­ty tak­ing over our Repub­li­can major­i­ty.
