Trump Blasts RFK Jr.: ‘Most Rad­i­cal Left Can­di­date In The Race’

Just hours after inde­pen­dent pres­i­den­tial can­di­date Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced his run­ning mate, for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump slammed Kennedy, call­ing him “the most rad­i­cal Left can­di­date in the race.”
In a Tues­day announce­ment, Kennedy chose Nicole Shana­han, a lawyer and Demo­c­ra­t­ic donor, to be his vice pres­i­den­tial run­ning mate. Shana­han sup­port­ed Pres­i­dent Joe Biden’s 2020 cam­paign against Trump and also donat­ed $150,000 to the cam­paign of left­ist Los Ange­les Coun­ty Dis­trict Attor­ney George Gas­con. Kennedy’s VP choice cements his posi­tion as a “rad­i­cal Left Demo­c­rat,” accord­ing to Trump, but the for­mer pres­i­dent believes the Kennedy/Shanahan tick­et will be good for his cam­paign and hurt Biden.
