MRC’s Dan Schnei­der RIPS Google for Dodg­ing ‘His­toric’ Hear­ing Against Big Tech Elec­tion Inter­fer­ence

MRC Free Speech Vice Pres­i­dent Dan Schnei­der con­demned Google for hid­ing from account­abil­i­ty and fur­ther exposed years of Big Tech elec­tion inter­fer­ence.
Dur­ing a March 28 hear­ing before the West Vir­ginia State Elec­tion Com­mis­sion, Schnei­der called out Google for brazen­ly ignor­ing a sub­poe­na to answer for putting its thumb on the polit­i­cal scale. 
“I do just want to address the fact that Google has refused the sub­poe­na to appear today,” Schnei­der said. “Google and the par­ent com­pa­ny Alpha­bet is the third largest pub­licly trad­ed cor­po­ra­tion in world his­to­ry. Its mar­ket cap­i­tal­iza­tion of near­ly 2 tril­lion dol­lars is 400 times the size of the West Vir­ginia bud­get, yet out of 102,000 employ­ees at Google, not a sin­gle one can spare even 10 or 15 min­utes to appear today, to talk about this impor­tant issue.”
