Stimulus update: Direct payment of ,312 to be sent to some Alaskans in 16 days

Eli­gi­ble Alas­ka res­i­dents who have not got­ten their pay­ments from the state as part of the Per­ma­nent Fund Div­i­dend will receive their checks in 16 days.
Those who will get their pay­ment on April 18 include res­i­dents with the “Eli­gi­ble-Not Paid” sta­tus as of April 10 who have yet to receive their checks from the Per­ma­nent Fund Div­i­dend pro­gram from 2023 or ear­li­er.
To qual­i­fy for a pay­ment from the PFD pro­gram, an Alaskan must intend to remain a res­i­dent of the state indef­i­nite­ly and may not be a con­vict­ed felon, among oth­er stip­u­la­tions.
Check amounts from the Per­ma­nent Fund Div­i­dend are deter­mined by the state’s annu­al min­er­al rev­enues and are sent to eli­gi­ble res­i­dents each year.
