Trump min­gles with golf super­stars at LIV Golf Mia­mi

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump was spot­ted hang­ing out with var­i­ous golf super­stars on Sun­day who were attend­ing an event at the Trump Nation­al Doral Mia­mi hotel.
The pre­sump­tive Repub­li­can pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee made his appear­ance just before the final round of the day. Among the golf­ing icons in atten­dance were Bub­ba Wat­son, Antho­ny Kim, and Bryson DeCham­beau; LIV Golf CEO Greg Nor­man was also present for the event.

Trump was joined by his son, Eric Trump, dur­ing his vis­it to the golf course.
The for­mer pres­i­dent is no stranger to the world of LIV Golf, which host­ed three of its 14 tour­na­ments at Trump cours­es in 2023 in Flori­da, New Jer­sey, and Vir­ginia. Trump has also seem­ing­ly defend­ed LIV Golf on social media despite con­tro­ver­sy gen­er­at­ed over the pro­fes­sion­al golf­ing tour.

The con­tro­ver­sy relat­ed to LIV Golf stems from its fund­ing from Sau­di Ara­bia, which has a Pub­lic Invest­ment Fund with over $2 bil­lion invest­ed in the sport. Sau­di Ara­bia has been great­ly crit­i­cized due to its pos­si­ble con­nec­tions to the Sept. 11 ter­ror­ist attacks as well as the mur­der of Wash­ing­ton Post jour­nal­ist Jamal Khashog­gi.
