Biden jokes about himself and Trump at White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Pres­i­dent Joe Biden cracked jokes about him­self and for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump on Sat­ur­day night at the White House Cor­re­spon­dents’ Din­ner, acknowl­edg­ing that “Yes, age is an issue” in the pair’s gen­er­al elec­tion rematch in Novem­ber.
“I’m a grown man run­ning against a 6‑year-old,” Biden said, tak­ing a shot at his oppo­nent before turn­ing it back on him­self. “Well, I feel great. I real­ly feel great. I’m cam­paign­ing all over the coun­try: Penn­syl­va­nia, Geor­gia, North Car­oli­na. I’ve always done well in the orig­i­nal 13 colonies.”
Biden, 81, con­tin­ued to embrace his age, rop­ing Sat­ur­day Night Live cre­ator Lorne Michaels into one of his jokes.
