Trump Says Liz Cheney Should Be Jailed, For­mer Con­gress­woman Responds

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump said on Sun­day that for­mer Rep. Liz Cheney (R‑WY) and oth­er mem­bers of the now-defunct Jan­u­ary 6 Com­mit­tee should be jailed.
A House GOP report released last week said Trump’s dri­ver on Jan­u­ary 6, 2021, “refut­ed” for­mer White House aide Cas­sidy Hutchinson’s claim that Trump attempt­ed to grab the steer­ing wheel that day to redi­rect the SUV to the U.S. Capi­tol fol­low­ing his speech, and lunged at his head of secu­ri­ty.
Just the News CEO and Edi­tor in Chief John Solomon high­light­ed on Trump’s Truth Social plat­form the par­tic­u­lar find­ing that Cheney, who served as vice chair­woman of the Jan­u­ary 6 Com­mit­tee, per­son­al­ly took part in an inter­view with the dri­ver and did not include that denial in the panel’s final report.
