Democ­rats tar­get Biden-dis­trict Repub­li­cans as impeach­ment efforts sput­ter

EXCLUSIVE — Vul­ner­a­ble House Repub­li­cans are com­ing under attack by Demo­c­ra­t­ic groups for their con­tin­ued sup­port of an impeach­ment inquiry into Pres­i­dent Joe Biden despite the inves­ti­ga­tion so far fail­ing to uncov­er defin­i­tive evi­dence of any wrong­do­ing.
The Demo­c­ra­t­ic-aligned Con­gres­sion­al Integri­ty Project released a new ad cam­paign on Tues­day tar­get­ing GOP law­mak­ers rep­re­sent­ing dis­tricts won by Biden in 2020, urg­ing Repub­li­cans to drop the inquiry and instead focus on advanc­ing bipar­ti­san leg­is­la­tion to secure the bor­der. The ads are set to broad­cast in 17 dis­tricts across eight states as part of a larg­er sev­en-fig­ure cam­paign crit­i­ciz­ing Repub­li­cans and their impeach­ment efforts.
