Raphael Warnock slams Trump for sell­ing $59.99 Bible

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D‑GA) blast­ed for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s lat­est busi­ness ven­ture, sell­ing the “God Bless the USA” Bible for $59.99 at the start of Christian’s Holy Week.
Warnock showed his dis­dain toward Trump’s sell­ing of the “God Bless the USA” Bible on CNN’s State of the Union with Dana Bash on Sun­day. Warnock, who is a pas­tor at Ebenez­er Bap­tist Church in Atlanta, said he was deliv­er­ing an East­er Sun­day ser­vice.
“The Bible does not need Don­ald Trump’s endorse­ment,” Warnock said. “Jesus, in the very last week of his life, chased the mon­ey chang­ers out of his Tem­ple. Those who would take sacred things and use them as cheap relics to be sold in the mar­ket­place.”
