House Republicans Propose Renaming Dulles Airport After Trump

House Repub­li­cans have intro­duced a long-shot bill that would rename one of the major air­ports in the Wash­ing­ton, D.C., met­ro­pol­i­tan area after for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump.
Rep. Guy Reschen­thaler (R‑PA), who is the chief deputy whip of the House GOP, announced on Tues­day that he was lead­ing the endeav­or to rename Wash­ing­ton Dulles Inter­na­tion­al Air­port in Vir­ginia as the Don­ald J. Trump Inter­na­tion­al Air­port.
“As mil­lions of domes­tic and inter­na­tion­al trav­el­ers fly through the air­port, there is no bet­ter sym­bol of free­dom, pros­per­i­ty, and strength than hear­ing ‘Wel­come to Trump Inter­na­tion­al Air­port’ as they land on Amer­i­can soil,” Reschen­thaler said.
