Trump’s next fundrais­er to be biggest yet with antic­i­pat­ed $43 mil­lion in dona­tions

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump will be in Palm Beach, Flori­da on Sat­ur­day in hopes of rais­ing more mon­ey in one night than has been done ever before in a pres­i­den­tial race.
Hedge fund port­fo­lio man­ag­er John Paul­son is host­ing the event in his home with the expec­ta­tion it will raise $43 mil­lion on Trump’s behalf. Donors in atten­dance can con­tribute as much as $814,600 per per­son, with the first $6,600 going to the cam­paign per the invi­ta­tion. Anoth­er por­tion of $5,000 will go towards the for­mer president’s legal fees. This leaves the Repub­li­can Nation­al Com­mit­tee with a max of $413,000 per attendee.
