DeSan­tis To Launch Effort Rais­ing Mon­ey For Trump’s Cam­paign: Report

Flori­da Gov­er­nor Ron DeSan­tis is report­ed­ly plan­ning on help­ing for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump raise mon­ey in the com­ing weeks and months ahead of the 2024 pres­i­den­tial elec­tion.
DeSan­tis told donors and sup­port­ers about his plans to fundraise for the for­mer pres­i­dent at a pri­vate retreat last week­end, NBC News report­ed.
DeSan­tis dropped out of the Repub­li­can Par­ty pres­i­den­tial pri­ma­ry on Jan­u­ary 21, just days fol­low­ing his sec­ond place fin­ish in the Iowa Cau­cus­es.
The GOP pri­ma­ry was large­ly a two-per­son race between Trump and DeSan­tis for the major­i­ty of the cam­paign sea­son.
“I would say the major­i­ty in the room would now be will­ing to help Trump,” a DeSan­tis bundler who was at the recent meet­ing told NBC News.
