Sununu Defends Trump Over Man­hat­tan Crim­i­nal Tri­al: ‘Peo­ple See It More As Real­i­ty TV’

Gov­er­nor Chris Sununu (R‑NH) said this week that for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s crim­i­nal tri­al in Man­hat­tan will not have the polit­i­cal ram­i­fi­ca­tions that many of Trump’s detrac­tors believe it will.
Sununu made the remarks dur­ing an inter­view with George Stephanopou­los on ABC News’ “This Week” when asked if he would sup­port Trump even if he was con­vict­ed.
