Tri­al bal­loon: Trump boasts $1 mil­lion haul for first day spent in Man­hat­tan court

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump raked in more than $1 mil­lion in cam­paign fundrais­ing after the first day of his crim­i­nal tri­al in New York on Mon­day. 
Accord­ing to new­ly appoint­ed Repub­li­can Nation­al Com­mit­tee Co-Chair­woman Lara Trump, who is Don­ald Trump’s daugh­ter-in-law, the for­mer pres­i­dent raised the mon­ey as he is being charged with 34 counts of fal­si­fy­ing busi­ness records.
“The peo­ple of Amer­i­ca spoke up yes­ter­day in sup­port of Don­ald Trump to the tune of a mil­lion and a half dol­lars raised for his cam­paign,” Lara Trump said on Fox & Friends on Tues­day. “The aver­age dona­tion was $28, so even here, in the abysmal Biden econ­o­my, peo­ple are com­ing out, and they are finan­cial­ly sup­port­ing this pres­i­dent.”
